How To Get An Appointment?
We operate the Advanced Access system at the surgery. You can either telephone early in the morning for an appointment the same day or telephone at any time for one of a limited amount of pre-bookable appointments. We shall endeavour to give you an appointment with the clinician of your choice but this will not always be possible.
You will also have the option to have a telephone consultation with a GP or trained nurse as an alternative to a face-to-face consultation. If you feel you need to be seen urgently that day and there are no appointments left, you will be telephoned by a doctor or nurse and, if necessary, be given an appointment on that day with either a doctor or nurse - Please Note: this can only be arranged by a clinician.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WHEN YOU ARE CALLED BACK, OUR TELEPHONE NUMBER MAY NOT DISPLAY ON YOUR PHONE. IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A CALL FROM ONE OF OUR CLINICIANS, DO NOT CONFUSE THIS WITH A COLD CALL OR A SALES CALL.
How do I Obtain Telephone Advice?
Our nurses and doctors offer a telephone advice service to patients. They will not usually interrupt their surgeries to take telephone calls, but once the surgery is finished they will respond to any messages or requests for telephone advice which have been taken during the surgery by the receptionists.
